What types of properties does Clean Slate offer?
We specialize in legal, move-in-ready sober living homes throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Our properties range from multi-unit developments to large single-family homes with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, solar power, private backyards, and ADA-compliant amenities.

Where are your sober homes located?

Are your properties legal for sober living?
Yes. All Clean Slate properties are fully legal for use as sober living rentals. We follow local zoning, health, and safety guidelines to ensure peace of mind for both residents and operators.

Do your properties have solar energy?
Absolutely. Most of our homes are equipped with solar panels, lowering utility costs and supporting sustainable recovery environments.

Who rents your homes? Residents or operators?
We lease exclusively to sober living operators, not individuals. Operators use our properties to house groups of individuals in recovery, providing structure and support.

Are your homes furnished or unfurnished?
Most homes come unfurnished, allowing operators to design and furnish the space according to their program’s needs. Select units may include basic appliances or furnishings; see individual listings for details.

How does the leasing process work?
Once you express interest in a property, we’ll schedule a tour and review qualifications. We prioritize long-term partnerships with experienced operators. Leases are typically one year with renewal options.

Do you offer construction or custom build-outs for operators?
Yes. In some cases, we can offer custom renovations or additional units (e.g. converting garages into JDUs or building ADUs). We’re builders as well as landlords; let’s talk.

Do you manage the sober living programs too?
No. Clean Slate is a sober living rental provider. We do not operate or manage recovery programs. We simply provide safe, legal, and high-quality housing that supports those who do.

Can I tour a home before signing a lease?
Yes. We encourage all operators to visit the properties to ensure it’s a good fit. Tours are by appointment only.
